Yesterday, Selah and I decided it would be fun to play in some cold water to cool off. It definitely cooled her off! We're going to the swimming pool today to beat the heat.

We've had some dear friends from our time in San Francisco in town. Lisa is about 6 months pregnant and more of a trooper than I would be in the heat. It has been great to reconnect with them.

Hey Laura,
So what is the temperature there these days? Sounds hot and I am assuming no air conditioning?

It was close to 100 yesterday and the day before but cooled down a bit today and there was a breeze, so it wasn't as unbearable. No AC in the apt. we're staying in...I think it will be on the purchase list when we move into our own place.

Turkey actually made a headline on the Weather Channel today. They were doing a story on the heat wave going through Europe, and they spotlighted Turkey. Thought of you guys...
