Welcome Home

It's 3.02 AM our time and I'm wide awake. Subscribing to the theory that a full stomach helps you go back to sleep, I imbibed on some banana bread one of our new friends made and a bunch of delicious cherries--they're so good here. As promised, here is a picture of our new apartment. It is in a nice part of town (from what I can tell) and it is very comfortable. Quite a blessing. We have been taking it easy so far--napping, unpacking, & meeting new people. We start language school on Tuesday.

Last week was a bit of a blur, but it was so great to reconnect with almost all of my family. Here is a pic of everyone at the lakehouse on July 4. We are so blessed to have such an amazing extended family behind us. They gave us a great send off.
